What is SymBioSE?

Being a student means also being permanently faced with minor and major problems of various kinds, decisions regarding the university of choice, special interests and ways of covering them, the critical question of “May I find a job afterwards?” and much more...

SymBioSE is the annual Symposium of Biology Students in Europe. It creates an opportunity for Biology students from all over Europe to get together to inspire each other, discuss their future and the future of Biology, and to think about concerns arising from biological research.

Our main objectives are to broaden the horizons of the participating students by excursions, workshops and lectures, to connect participants by discussions and cultural exchange and to inform everybody about current university matters.

The science of biology will always be the running theme, but political and ethical levels lift the focus from pure science when appropriate. SymBioSE meetings are a good occasion to exchange information and thoughts about biology, making foreign contacts and new friends.

SymBioSE Updates: Year 2012

Next Symbiose will be in Hungary, Szeged-Gödöllő. You will be able to download the registration form in January, also our poster will be uploaded in december! Please come back often to check for updates and new informations about SymBioSE 2012.There are some updates that came from the organizers of the Symposium in 2011. First, this year we have modified the most important text "About SymBioSE", which now describes this annual event much better. You can download it here:
