Saturday ------------------ Departure of Participants ------------------

The whole Saturday (9th August 1997) will be reserved for applicants arrival and be ended with an official Welcome to all participants in the evening.

There will be two units of workshops, the first one from 10th - 11th August and the second one from 13th - 14th August. The workshops of unit #1 are supposed to be finished within that period in order to allow participants to take part in a different workshop in unit #2. However if any workshop should turn out to need more time for their work this may also be easily arranged.

On Tuesday, 12th August, it's time to take a break from work and enjoy our Berlin Entertainment Program including sightseeing tours etc. In the evening the Berlin nightlife beckons...

The Friday (15 th August) will be the day for whole day excursions into Berlin and environs, but there will be also short excurions during the other days (like early-morning-bird-watching...). Some of the excursions will be directly connected to the topics dealt with in some workshops, but since all of them are still in a rather early state of organization, we're unable at the moment to present any further details at this place. Please look again at a later time.

The following workshops are currently part of the SymBioSE program, however this list should also be considered preliminary and subject to change, for some of the rather concise topic descriptions will still be specified in more detail, some workshops might even be cancelled, and hopefully some of You will also prepare an additional workshop to be held at SymBioSE.
